The Lovely & Dapper Bakery

In 2021, we decided it was time for us to take the leap, follow our hearts and started Lovely & Dapper Desserts. With a lot of love and support from friends and family, we were able to start our own mobile cake shop. Our two awesome kids have been huge inspirations to us and our hope is that we show them that they can make their wildest dreams come true.

We are very passionate about collaborating with other small businesses and using local products in our cakes. We take inspiration from cherished family recipes, popular desserts, cocktails, beverages, etc to make our flavors fun and unique. We also offer classic flavors so there is always something for everyone.

We are always asked when we will open up a shop and we weren’t sure if that would ever be an option for us. Recently, we were presented with an amazing opportunity to open our own brick and mortar bakery in Olympia, WA. We had been considering moving there to be closer to family and we were researching commissary kitchens when we were told about an available bakery space. Once we saw it we fell in love and knew we had to go for it.

The little bakery house is nestled on the edge of a sweet neighborhood and is across the street from several office buildings. It is exactly the type of place we have always envisioned having one day. Cute, cozy and welcoming it feels like the perfect spot for “The Lovely & Dapper Bakery“.

Our vision is to create an inclusive community space where everyone feels welcomed and at home. We will of course be selling our Tin Can Cakes but we will also have a variety of delicious morning pastries, house-made granola parfaits, baguette sandwiches, coffee, tea and more. We also want to have a variety of local products for sale in the shop. Our goal is to bring all our amazing market friends along with us on our journey.
