McCormick Jam Co.
McCormick Jam Co. is a small family jam company specializing in low sugar jams made with local honey and raw sugar and local fruit from small family farms. This husband and wife team are so passionate about what they do and you can tell how much love they put into every jar of jam they make. Their jams taste like the fruit they make it with, and they have so many fun and unique flavors you can’t find anywhere else such as Strawberry Balsamic, Wild Mountain Huckleberry, Apple Pie, Sour Cherry Pie, Quince, Spiced Pear, Rhubarb, Lemonade Marmalade, and so much more. They also have classic flavors such as Raspberry, Apricot, Blueberry, and Regina Peach that will rival any jam you’ve had before.
Lighthouse Roasters
Lighthouse Roasters has been a staple in the Fremont neighborhood for over 30 years. Emily grew up walking there with her classmates from Pacific Crest Montessori to get hot chocolates. Her dad Richard Weeks also used to play live music there with his band. We reconnected with them through our beloved neighborhood West Seattle Coffee shop C&P Coffee Co when we bought a bag of Lighthouse Coffee Beans there to use in our cakes. Once we realized the connection Emily had to Lighthouse from childhood, we reached out to see if we could do a pop-up cake shop there. We’ve been popping up there to sell every couple of months and it’s one of those amazing full circle moments we have come to cherish. They have the most delicious coffee and we love using it in our cakes.
Encore Chocolates & Teas
Encore Chocolates & Teas in Olympia is a beautiful place with hundreds of wonderful teas to choose from. The staff is always very kind and helpful and very knowledgeable about their products. Emily’s mom, Megan, lives in Olympia and introduced us to them a couple of years ago. The quality of their teas is exceptional and we’ve used many varieties to flavor our cakes with.
